Online individual therapy

Support for the parts of life you’ve been carrying alone.

You may be getting through each day while feeling anxious, disconnected, exhausted, or stuck beneath the surface. Individual therapy gives you a private place to slow down, understand what is happening, and work toward change without having to hold everything together for someone else.

A place to begin

You do not need to arrive with the perfect explanation or tell your entire story at once. Sarah will meet you where you are, help clarify what matters most, and keep therapy connected to your life and goals.

Individual therapy may help when you are navigating:

What the work can look like

Therapy that is warm, practical, and shaped around you

Sarah draws from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based practices, trauma-informed care, solution-focused therapy, and person-centered therapy. These are not applied as a one-size-fits-all formula. Together, you will identify patterns, build useful coping skills, and focus on changes that feel meaningful and realistic.

Some sessions may center on understanding past experiences; others may focus on a current decision, relationship, habit, or practical next step. You set the pace, and Sarah brings empathy, honesty, and gentle challenge when it can help you move forward.

Sarah’s perspective

Grounded understanding of service and high-pressure lives

Before becoming a therapist, Sarah served 24 years in the Army, beginning as a Chinook mechanic and crew chief. Her experience includes three deployments to Afghanistan and one to Kuwait. She understands the culture of service, the weight of responsibility, and how difficult it can be for capable people to ask for support.

Sarah has a special passion for working with active-duty service members, veterans, first responders, and their families. Clients from every background are welcome, and your work does not have to center on military or service experience.
